Clem Grosskinsky, PhD, MD, crossed
a continent and an ocean – literally –
to bring his medical expertise to the United
States.
Born in Ludwigshafen, West Germany, Dr. Grosskinsky
earned a PhD in Immunology from the National
Institute for Medical Research in London, England.
His trans-Atlantic travels then led him to Albert
Einstein College of Medicine In New York, where
he conducted research on the molecular genetics
of leprosy and tuberculosis, before obtaining
his medical degree from the State University
of New York’s Downstate Medical Center.
He then completed a residency in Obstetrics
and Gynecology at Duke University Medical Center
and a Fellowship at the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Grosskinsky also
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology
from the University of London.
Board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
as well as in Reproductive Endocrinology &
Fertility, Dr. Grosskinsky has been a partner
on the Ohio Reproductive Medicine medical team
since 1996, as well as a clinical assistant
professor at The Ohio State University since
2001.
A seasoned speaker on OB/GYN and fertility topics
and fluent in English and German, Dr. Grosskinsky
is also an award-winning researcher on the topic
of hormonal markers in abnormal pregnancies
as well as a published author in numerous medical
publications and papers. He is a member of the
American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists,
the American Society for Reproductive Medicine,
the Bayard Carter Society of Obstetricians &
Gynecologists, the Columbus Obstetric-Gynecologic
Society (for which he served as president from
2003 – 2004), the Society of Reproductive
Endocrinologists, and the Society for Assisted
Reproductive Technology.
A married father of three children, Dr. Grosskinsky
is also an avid outdoorsman with an affinity
for skiing, working in his garden, and working
on model airplanes when time allows.
